Had Sunday off to recover and get ready for week two which is only 4 days, Hooah!!
I am not real sure what I learned, each day our instructors continued to pound information into our brains one topic after the next and really not sure what all I really remember, they say as long as I retain 10-20% should be ok, haha!!
After PT in the AM I am feeling great and ready to go but than going to sit in class makes for a long day and a couple times needed some caffeine to get though. Hopefully it should get better.
We have one more week of class room than out to the field, I can’t wait!!
Our 4 days off have been very nice to catch up on sleep and relax. Friday we went out on the River walk and had a great time, Saturday saw the Alamo (not as exciting as I had hoped) and walked around the River walk which is pretty cool. Had some great food than spent the evening bowling, who would have guessed!!
Sunday spent the day lying around and Monday headed for a hike, very excited.
The hardest thing to catch on to is the lingo, we have so many acronyms it really is not even funny. The hardest thing is if you say the letters individually or make them into a new word. It’s a whole new language. Slowly catching on!!
Overall I don’t for see a problem getting used to the Army thing!
